Job Summary Candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the roof and grounds areas of the facility during all seasons and weather conditions. They will perform duties based on a pre-determined schedule or as needed by the supervisor. The candidate will also be responsible for the care of grounds equipment and reporting issues to the supervisor. Essential job duties Mowing, cleaning and watering lawn areas of the plant. Inspecting,

replacing filters, and sanitizing of rooftop air handling/HVAC units in accordance with schedules and procedures. General removal of snow and ice using a vehicle mounted plow, snow blower and shovels.

General cleaning of debris and product buildup from the outside perimeter and rooftop areas of the plant. Perform basic upkeep and maintenance of grounds equipment including lawn mower and associated attachments; pickup truck and plow; sprinkler systems. Reporting all major issues or obstacles to the supervisor in a timely manner. Shift work as needed. Back up boiler operator Fill in for Maintenance. Education/Experience A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Applicants shall

provide an official transcript(s) for high school and post high school education and training.

GED records may be submitted if applicable. Valid Driver's License, and a clean driving record Skills Proficient skills as an industrial mechanic. Incumbent must own and maintain a basic set of hand tools. Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Must be able to creatively apply experience and common sense to a variety of situations, processes, and people. Must be able to make technical decisions and support the staff on technical issues. Possess the ability to manage several projects concurrently. Be able to resolve issues that may include conflicts between employees, equipment malfunctions, and variations in operating conditions.
