We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Jerome, ID team. The shift for the position is Nights, 6pm - 6am. Starting wage for this position is $27.00 per hour +$1.00 shift differential. The Maintenance Technician has the responsibility to oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment. Ideal

candidates 2 – 3 years previous maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant. Strong mechanical aptitude. Must have desire to learn, show initiative and able to pass Forklift License Certification.

He or she diagnoses problems and works in many varied and diversified capacities required for the general maintenance, overhaul, and repair of plant equipment, processes, and facilities and must have general knowledge of electronics and electrical systems, including basic electrical repairs. With some supervision and direction provided by the Maintenance Supervisor and Production Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will plan and schedule plant and equipment

maintenance activities to minimize disruption to plant production and material handling activities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial operations in a mechanic capacity performing troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. He or she must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team, must have basic computer and math skills, and must be able to work rotating shifts. ONLY EXPERIENCED INDUSTRIAL MECHANICS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Summary : Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.

Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other structures. Ensure personal safety, food safety and quality protocols are followed. Keeps work area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and 5S. Performs assigned tasks in a manner that does not endanger the environment and adheres to company and regulatory standards. Actively participates in the continuous improvement process. Job Summary Candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the roof and grounds areas of the facility during all seasons and weather conditions. They will perform duties based on a pre-determined schedule or as needed by the supervisor. The candidate will also be responsible for the care of grounds equipment and reporting issues to the supervisor. Essential job duties Mowing, cleaning and watering lawn areas of the plant. Inspecting,

replacing filters, and sanitizing of rooftop air handling/HVAC units in accordance with schedules and procedures. General removal of snow and ice using a vehicle mounted plow, snow blower and shovels.

General cleaning of debris and product buildup from the outside perimeter and rooftop areas of the plant. Perform basic upkeep and maintenance of grounds equipment including lawn mower and associated attachments; pickup truck and plow; sprinkler systems. Reporting all major issues or obstacles to the supervisor in a timely manner. Shift work as needed. Back up boiler operator Fill in for Maintenance.
