Position Summary: The Mechanical technician is responsible for repairing all mechanical equipment across the site interacting with Operations, Site Technical and Line Management. This position is assigned to the Maintenance Team and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

The work schedule will be either 8 hour day shifts or 4 X 10 work schedule.

One should be able to support maintenance work on weekend and after regular hours during turnarounds, including but not limited to overtime and on Call hours are required and will vary depending on operations and shutdowns. Commitment to safety and the ability to maintain an orderly and safe workplace. Highly motivated and results oriented, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, operate independently and meet commitments. Effectively convey various types of information through face-to-face interaction as well as indirect contact.

Responsibilities : Complete Work Order paperwork which includes history, time confirmation, variance codes, Job plan forms and other associated paperwork. Ability to read and follow a Process and Instrumentation Design Drawing. Ability to anticipate changing priorities, redirect activities, and proactively communicate to those involved. Read/Follow weekly PM procedures and accurately record data. Other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Minimum 2 years of on-the-job experience as a mechanical maintenance technician in a chemical processing or refinery environment Basic computer proficiency allowing the technician to be able to navigate a Windows-based system/server, knowledge of Microsoft outlook, print routes, work orders and do some scheduling.

Good oral and written communications. The ability to standing position for up to 4 hours at a time. Able to climb stairs to as much as seven flights and ladders on a regular basis. Able to lift 50 lbs. Regular crawling, climbing, knelling, squatting and bending will be required Able to work in PPE such as hard hats, glasses, face shield, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, and respirator when required.

Access SAP to review equipment history, print Work Orders, view Bill of materials, and locate stores stock parts. Ability to read P&ID's. Must complete all skill demos and training requirements for Site Maintenance role Preferred Qualifications: General knowledge of the Fayetteville site. Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) Trained SAP experience NCCER certification in Mechanical Maintenace preferred. The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.

You are best suited for the role if you. Job Knowledge and Tasks Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from

operators in order to diagnose equipment problems. Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery. Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.

Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices. Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment, to include but

not limited to: hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo control devices, conveying systems, industrial printers, valves, photo eyes, switches, heat exchangers, level controls.

Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment. As applicable refer to blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery. Operate and support industrial, refrigeration, boiler and utility operations. Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment. Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators. Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.

Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment (planned and unplanned maintenance activities). Respond to production needs as they occur on the production floor. Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records. Accurately input and record PM (planned and unplanned activities into SAP or other MIS/ERP system. Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Comply with federal, state and local safety regulations. Follow SQF and Company GMP and 5S guidelines to produce a safe and quality product Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.

Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel. Other duties as required by management. Job requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience. 1-2 year(s) prior industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environment required. Ability to utilize computer-based maintenance planning/PM ERP platforms, SAP a plus. Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.

Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills. Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to read electric schematics a plus. Self-motivated detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
