How you'll contribute The Operator II, Engineering and Maintenance role is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all facility systems. This position will provide corrective action, basic troubleshooting, and intermediate repairs of equipment such as mechanical (HVAC & plumbing), general facilities infrastructure,
life safety, utilities and more within a c GMP manufacturing facility.
This role will also assist as needed with the upkeep and repair of manufacturing/lab/processing equipment and support systems. Ensure equipment, systems, spaces, and grounds are clean, well kept, operate efficiently & properly, and are c GMP compliant by following set processes & instructions in addition to monitoring and inspecting equipment and facilities. Ensure all facility and production systems are c GMP compliant. Complete assigned preventive & corrective maintenance and provide proper documentation of work performed in the computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) in accordance with policies and instructions Perform highly effective repairs of all buildings and equipment as required Request assistance from more experienced or senior team members as needed to complete work in a safe and effective manner, and aid less experienced or junior team members as requested or tasked Adhere to applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) in order to comply with safety, health & environmental guidelines, and governmental regulations.
Use discretion, in the absence of written procedures or instructions, to start and stop equipment to ensure continued operation until necessary corrective action is taken Attend, participate in, and complete all assigned training in a timely manner Ensure that vendors and contractors are trained in applicable company procedures regarding safety, environment, and health in order to provide effective service in compliance with all ordinances such as electrical and construction codes.
Observe and monitor vendor work as required. Assist in special projects and/or construction projects, which may include demolition, renovation, and new construction Participate in emergency and after-hours on-call rotation in order to ensure continuous operations of facility and production systems Other duties as assigned For this role you will need Minimum Requirements H.
S.
