Working in our Maintenance department will give you the opportunity to do a variety of tasks including electrical work, working with phone and various emergency alert systems as well as computer network wiring, hardware, locks, and keys.
Shift will be Monday-Friday with on-call maintenance duty (pager) on rotational basis. Starts at $20-$22.51. This position will require the ability to communicate effectively, prioritize workloads and respond appropriately to change. Must be able to follow and understand operation manuals/schematics and be able to read and understand the English
language. Three years of experience in building maintenance and working knowledge of building trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, concrete and telecommunications is needed.
A valid Oregon driver's license is required. A valid State of Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrical License (LME) is preferred but not required. Physical requirements include: Ability to perform heavy lifting and carrying of up to 100 lbs. Ability to move frequently during the workday, including lifting, carrying, walking standing, sitting, bending, reaching, twisting, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and working from ladders.
