A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR MAINTENANCE WORKER As a Senior Maintenance Worker, you spend your day doing tasks in the maintenance and repair of Street Signs and Pavement Markings. Your work typically is to perform removal and replacements of signs as needed throughout the city. Your job is essential to the city, and you often assist in cleaning and repair of pavement markings throughout the city.
