Summary of position: The primary purpose of this position is to maintain, repair and clean areas/equipment and to assist other trade mechanics in their duties to ensure a safe, and well-maintained hotel. Perform minor repairs of plumbing facilities such as replacing faucets, hose connections, fish flumes and pipes, drains, heat traces, pipe, and miscellaneous fixtures.
Assist journeyman-level employees to install, construct, repair or modify items and structures. Paint equipment, gates, road surfaces, curbs, fish tanks, buildings, and furniture items using standard brushing or spraying techniques under the direction of a journeyman-level employee. Under the guidance and supervision of journeyman-level employees,
performs a variety of welding processes to carry out standard welding operations, not requiring critical stress or testing of weld. Perform miscellaneous duties such as preparing purchase card requests, maintaining roads, clearing debris from channels, cutting trees and limbs, opening and closing gates, cleaning building and restrooms, pressure washing and sediment removal.
