As a Sales Development Executive you will represent GPI completely and successfully in all initial interactions with prospective new customers.
You will play a crucial role in our sales department by identifying and qualifying potential leads, ultimately driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for initiating contact with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and creating opportunities for our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, analytical capacity, and
a passion for sales. This position will be out of a virtual office for someone located in the Chicago, IL area.
Position Responsibilities: included but are not limited to the following Proactively identify and research potential leads through various sources, including online research, social media, and industry-specific databases. Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and other communication methods. Qualify leads by understanding their needs, budget, and timeline. Schedule appointments or product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads. Maintain accurate and detailed records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation strategies. Maintain CRM system for the sales team to ensure clear communication of developing opportunities for Leadership. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities. Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. Continuously improve your sales skills and knowledge through self-motivated learning. All other duties as assigned Required Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Persistent, proactive, and results-oriented. High proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools, or ability to rapidly learn. High proficiency with Excel & Power Point. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Required Experience: Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Knowledge of the packaging and Consumer Products industries is a plus.
