Print Shop production schedule to meet company's expectations and deadlines. Calculates and communicates to clients the total production costs for digital production projects. Communicate job status or any unique circumstances relating to jobs, etc.

Provide proof reading and monitor jobs for errors and/or " common sense" mistakes to eliminate rework or production delays. Directs layout/job set up to assure appropriate utilization of equipment and materials while meeting the cost-efficiency requirements and timeframes. Manages
production (copying, printing, laminating, etc. ) and organizes packing of completed job orders. Monitors and maintains paper stock inventory, precuring specific products as required.
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, print requests, documents, etc. Keep job ticket information complete, accurate and current. Participates in training activities, committee or other special assignments as requested/required. Comply with all policy, procedure, regulation, and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite. Supervision of subordinate's use of common printshop equipment. Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed and is responsible
for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance of OSHA requirements and/or corporate instructions.
Supervisory Manages and coordinates staff operations and activities. Ensures that subordinate associates receive complete training in all aspects of the position. Monitors and validates printer calibrations to assure accuracy of color production on all equipment & substrates. Establishes appropriate control methods to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective operations. Accurately evaluates associate performance and conducts Performance Evaluations and/or disciplinary actions. Recommends salary increases, promotions, demotions, transfers, and terminations.
Develops associates towards realizing their potential. Maintains high associate morale and low turnover. Performs other related duties as required. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Must be computer literate and have substantial experience in MS Office (Word, Excel & Access). Must have competency and understanding of CMYK, RGB and Pantone color pallets and conversions. Must be skilled in use of desktop publishing, design layout, form creation, Adobe, Planet Press, & BCC MM2010 software is required. Must have knowledge of internal workings of a printing facility including pre-press work with digital graphic arts, color balance/corrections, direct to device, and print to file output.
Must be comfortable in MS Office & Teams Must be very detail oriented. Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. (English required & Spanish a plus. ) Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must have successful personnel management experience. Physical Requirements Standing, walking, sitting, pushing/pulling, manual dexterity (writing, typing, fingering, handling). Must be able to comfortably lift a weight of 50lbs.
