This position works Monday-Friday; 5:30pm - 2am. Duties & Responsibilities: Performs custodial maintenance duties, including mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets.

Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Dust furniture, machines, and office equipment. Performs routine maintenance on custodial equipment. Empties trash receptacles, bags trash, and disposes trash into containers. Service, clean, and restock restrooms. Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting

or recommending work orders. Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Perform minimal building maintenance and repair tasks such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Performs cleaning functions based on seasonal/project requirements. Requirements: Previous custodial experience preferred.

Knowledge of, or ability to learn, standard cleaning methods and equipment.

Ability to work independently in maintaining a clean and orderly environment. More than 90% of the job is physical work. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Ability to understand written and verbal communications. Scheduling availability to work from 5:30 p. m. to 2:00 a. m. weekdays.
