Duration: 4 Months Scope of Work: Safety oversite of Drywall & Siding contractor Project approx Start: January 1st Contractor Certification Requirements: Bilingual is a plus but not needed. OSHA 510/500 with 5+ years of experience in construction safety. Principal Duties & Responsibilities : Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.

Safety training as requested/required. Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices. Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management. Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations Qualifications/Education/

Experience: Three to five years of directly related experience in construction health and safety training and consultation experience is required. Requirements OSHA 30 and/or Solid knowledge of EHS standards, and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate such standards to others.

3-5 years of construction safety and health experience. Excellent public speaking abilities. Energetic, ambitious, assertive, and an excellent communicator. OSHA outreach training experience preferred. Able to meet deadlines, and work independently without direct supervision, as well as in a team environment. Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality Outgoing personality, self-motivated Excellent customer service, telephone, electronic, and written communication skills.

Analyze and recommend improvements for safe work practices, policies, and training programs. Technical experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Use of standard office equipment. Organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and strong ability to multi-task interfacing with multiple client situations on any given workday. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.

Must embrace a team-based, initiative-driven environment. Effectively work with others to build consensus and rapport Work conditions are typically warehouse, clinical, manufacturing facilities, construction projects, and field conditions. Learn more at . Job Summary Job Summary: Working as the HR Manager, your primary focus will be to support the Human Resources function so that it meets both the needs of the business and of our associates. The HR manager will take the lead role in all of the following functional areas:

associate relations, HR specific training, HR legal requirements and compliance, development and revision of HR policies and procedures, associate engagement survey action plan follow up, performance and merit increase monitoring, hiring non-exempt associates and managing data associated with bonus administration.

Key Responsibilities: Ensures all Company HR related policies are applied consistently. Objectively coaches associates and management through complex and difficult issues. Provides guidance to management on appropriate disciplinary action. Assists with on-site investigations. Oversees My Opportunity for hourly recruitment and onboarding. Maintains and coordinates associate recognition

programs. Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws.

Regularly runs and/or reviews HR activity reports. Supports internal customer survey and associate engagement survey interpretation/feedback process. Attends department manager meetings to increase HR visibility, conducts classroom training, provides assistance and implements HR initiatives. Reviews any request for pay increases or other status changes to ensure internal equity and consistency. Process status change forms. Prepares, coordinates and presents HR related topics and other HR related training. Acts as the diversity champion by leading assigned tasks and corporate diversity activities including diversity recruiting, retention and promotion goals.

Assists in the creation of Personal Development Plans, as appropriate, for associates. Participates in the Annual Performance Appraisal process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. PHR or SPHR designation strongly preferred. Three plus years human resources generalist experience required; management experience a plus. HR experience at a large, multi-unit organization required. Previous experience as part of a centralized HR environment, preferably in a corporate setting.

Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point skills; advanced skills preferred. Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Strong presentation skills required. Training certification a plus (i. e. Zenger-Miller, Stephen Covey, etc. ). Apply to Crothall today!
