IGT is seeking a Lottery Field Services Technician in the area of East Houston, TX. The Lottery Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing IGT equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will

be part of our award-winning lottery services organization. Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing IGT equipment at Retailer (customer) locations.

Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified " zone" to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices. Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner. Attend driver training and follow IGT vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle. Maintain equipment to promote continuous operation of IGT equipment. Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field.

This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component. Communicate effectively and efficiently with Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times and problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch. Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, ribbons, betslips, etc. and track inventory of these items. Deliver basic training to new Retailers or refresher/remedial training to Retailers who may be performing procedures incorrectly, such as changing paper and ribbon.

Complete basic forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for improvements to procedures, etc. Qualifications High school degree or GED equivalent required. 1 or more years of experience in a customer service related position 1 or more years of experience in technical repairs Must possess a valid driver's license, have a good driving record and demonstrate the ability to correctly perceive colors. Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb a ladder, lift and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds for a significant distance (e.

g. from a parked vehicle to a point within the Retailer's location or to the rooftop of the retailer's location). Must be able to sit and drive for prolonged periods of time, demonstrate dexterity when working with tools and work with moving parts and electrical current. May work at heights (rooftop) for installation of equipment, work in close quarters and/or; be exposed to inclement weather during some installations. The estimated starting compensation range is $19.00- $22.00. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. In this role, you will deliver, set up and exchange ion exchange tanks to customers in commercial and industrial applications. Drive truck to deliver ion exchange tanks and water treatment equipment to customer site. Ensure that correct equipment required for the daily route is loaded, secured and meets quality specs. Load and unload tanks on truck and maintains correct inventory on board truck

as required. Completes Vehicle Inspection Reports for pre-trip inspection. Keep accurate accountability of inventory at each site and make changes as needed. Communicates changes thru the proper channels and follows up to ensure that changes have been made.

Takes water samples and conducts the following tests including but not limited to TDS, resistivity, p H, CO2, Cl2, and hardness. Accurately record results and make suggestions or changes as required. Rinses ion exchange tanks to customer specifications at customer sites and ensures quality specifications met. Performs both dry and wet ion exchange tank exchanges. Performs maintenance on equipment to include PVC repair, and minor pump

and motor repairs. Maintains good housekeeping at all times, which includes the vehicles and customer sites.

Follows WTS and customer EHS policies and rules. Maintains contact with customer on site, communicating effectively, politely, and responding to their needs. Maintains good customer relationships. Assist with equipment or product delivery outside normal scope when needed due to business levels. May be required to be on call during non-business hours. Qualifications/Requirements: HS Diploma, GED or equivalent ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record history Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight - 50 lbs Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions Ability and willingness to: read, and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations; to write reports; to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities Desired Characteristics: Minimum of 2 years of experience in applicable fields such as electrical, industrial, mechanical, maintenance or plumbing Minimum of 2 years of water industry experience in ion exchange, water treatment, reverse osmosis or membranes and related equipment highly desirable.
