Automotive Service Technician

will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles are in top working condition. Additionally, the technician will have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities: - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. - Perform inspections and conduct routine maintenance tasks on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, exhaust, and electrical. - Repair or replace faulty components, such as alternators, starters, fuel pumps, and belts, ensuring

proper installation and functionality. - Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed, including labor, parts used, and repairs completed.

- Communicate with service advisors to explain diagnoses and recommended repair actions, providing accurate estimates of costs and time required for the job. - Operate and maintain various power and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner. - Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology advancements and attend technical training as required. - Adhere to established safety guidelines and regulations in the workplace to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational

or technical certification program in automotive service or related field is highly desirable.

- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or a similar role, with a solid understanding of automotive systems and components. - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; ability to accurately identify and resolve mechanical issues. - Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, such as scan tools and computer-based systems, to diagnose and fix issues in vehicles. - Solid knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures, including effectively utilizing service manuals and technical specifications. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring accurate completion of tasks within specified deadlines.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner. - Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks in various weather conditions. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
