This role will be working in the inpatient unit. Responsibilities Include: Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations. Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions. Maintain current and correct progress notes. Psychotropic medication management. Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed. Communicate with referring providers
and family members as appropriate. Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program. Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP. Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible. Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.
