The RN will be responsible for communicating health care information to families and/or residential providers.

The RN will train newly hired employees on unique protocols monthly and as needed. The rate of pay is $38.00 per hour Benefits offered. This is a full time, 40 hour position, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. There is no on-call, nights or weekends required. Pay increase after 1 year of service, pending a performance evaluation. 4 weeks

Providing direct support to individuals as needed. Maintaining medication books, appropriating sections of member medical files, etc. to ensure program compliance with all regulations established by DDS, DPH, CARF, and or Medicaid. Providing physical support, assisting with lifting, and transferring members who have physical challenges as needed. Qualifications and Skills Registered Nurse with current Massachusetts license. patient calls generated from self-pay statements, analyzes self-pay balances to determine patient responsibility, obtains and enters accurate insurance information, submits services to the insurance carrier, establishes payment plans, processes patient payments, researches all returned mail and prepares non-collectible accounts for the collection agency.

Typically reports to Patient Billing Supervisor. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e. g. GED, Hi SET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. EXPERIENCE Experience typically gained through 2-3 years experience working with third party billing practices, (experience

with physician's billing preferred) required. SKILLS Proven knowledge of ICD-9, CPT-4 and HCPCS coding required.

Outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with third party agents and patients both verbally and in writing required. Knowledge and experience with medical terminology, strong computer skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
