Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This position also includes a night differential of $4.00/hr and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr. POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Operating Room protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of a Registered Nurse licensure.

In addition collaborating with surgeons and providers on a multidisciplinary care team of members that provide care and coordination across the continuum. backsses and evaluates needs of the intra-operative patients physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Supports family needs with communication and instruction, mentors assigned team members,

promotes best practice, and maintains professional disposition at all times. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan); Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
