Description Collaborate with assigned team responsible to maintain and enhance the overall performance and availability of network infrastructure solutions to include data,

video, voice, and wireless. Analyze technologies and recommend upgrades/changes based on backssments of the organization's current and future network technology needs.

Participate in efforts within the network operations team in developing network installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures Design and implement plans to introduce new technology into the enterprise network while minimizing network outages and ensuring a seamless end-user experience Conduct thorough analysis of service results and respond to any escalated service delivery issues in a timely manner Work effectively with other IS teams and outsourcing provider(s) to ensure technology solutions are effectively managed

and performed Review reports to ensure all services are completely and successfully delivered; proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered; and use metrics to improve processes Design solutions and create implementation and support models for technology encompassing a specific specialization or platform Assist in the development of network operations processes, procedures, and documentation Oversee and execute planned network maintenance activity while minimizing impact to services Configure, install, support, and troubleshoot network equipment Interface with the business users to elicit and define network communications requirements Perform other duties as requested Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field and four (4) years of experience in the Information Network Services, OR High School diploma or GED and eight (8) years of experience in the Information Network Services Strong understanding of Infrastructure design and support concepts Preferred Four (4) or more years of experience in networking with Cisco routers and switches CCNA level certification, CCNP preferred (substantiated experience may substitute certifications) Experience with routing technologies including OSPF and EIGRP protocols Experience with Load Balancing and WAN optimization, preferably F5 and Riverbed Experience with network monitoring tools, preferably Solar Winds Troubleshooting experience and working knowledge of troubleshooting tools including packet capture and analysis Criteria/Conditions Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standard Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment Work is performed primarily in an office setting Location requires mobility in an office environment Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to thirty (30) pounds during the course of the workday Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required Freeport-Mc Mo Ran promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as allowed by applicable state laws At Freeport, we are committed to providing an employment package that recognizes excellence, rewards value and impact, and encourages safe production.

This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
