systems and layered software packages. Monitor and tunes systems to achieve optimum level of performance in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
Perform acceptance testing of modules, subsystems, and total systems. Will be responsible to perform software installation and configuration. The CDS systems will be hosted within Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC), Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO), and Fleet Weather Center Norfolk (FWC-N) classified operational data centers located at Monterey, CA; Stennis Space Center, MS; and Norfolk, VA respectively.
The contractor will be required to develop/continue development of and perform change management responsibilities for the RMF Security Authorization Package (SAP) for the disconnected CDS Lab system located at Stennis Space Center, MS. The contractor will be required to assist with continuous monitoring requirements in support of CDS Lab and operational CDS systems. The contractor
will be required to assist the Commander Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and staff with Cybersecurity policy development and enforcement, requirements verification for user system access, requirements verification for classified space security controls, and research existing and emerging Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity requirements, strategies, and solutions where pertaining to the CDS systems and their A&A.
This work is NOT for the A&A of the CDS guards themselves which follow the Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) process but is for the A&A of supportive servers and switches around the CDS guards which
follow the standard Navy RMF process for Navy networks. Tasking Assist and support government personnel with the accreditation of the CDS systems in the applicable target operational environments under the Do N Risk Management Framework (RMF) throughout every phase of the RMF process.
Document findings as they are discovered throughout the RMF process and coordinate the mitigation of the findings with government and contract personnel in order to achieve a successful accreditation disposition. Perform compliance backssments of the application and system with IA requirements (i. e.
