is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior System Administrator to join our team in the Fallon, NV. Basic Qualifications: The Senior Systems Administrator will be implementing operating systems and network devices security configuration in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides.

They will be administering boundary devices (i. e. managed switches, proxy servers, routers, firewalls, cryptography, and intrusion detection systems) and performing vulnerability backssments using Assured Compliance backssment Solution (ACAS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Security Technical Implementation Guide

(STIG), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker and incorporating automated Benchmarks on Do D Host-Based-Security Systems (HBSS). Qualifications are below: Five (5) years of experience as a computer/server systems administrator.

Five (5) years of experience implementing operating systems and network devices security configuration in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides. Five (5) years of experience in administering boundary devices (i. e. managed switches, proxy servers, routers, firewalls, cryptography, and intrusion detection systems) Five (5) years of experience performing vulnerability

backssments using Assured Compliance backssment Solution (ACAS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker, incorporating automated Benchmarks.

Five (5) years of experience correcting flaws and implementing technical controls in the hardware or software installed within a network environment. Five (5) years of experience managing Do D Host-Based-Security Systems (HBSS). Five (5) years of experience managing campus-scale (multiple buildings, hundreds of users) server installation. Five (5) years of experience using the Do D Information Assurance Vulnerability Management Program (IA VMP).

Possess Do D Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical Level II in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M. (i. e. GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP & Vendor certification and IT Training Provider certificate for network environment main operating system). Education/ Experience Requirements: B. puter science, Information System Management from an ABET accredited institution or IA/CS technology field, in lieu of a degree, 5 years’ experience as an IT technician on Do D classified networks is acceptable. Security Clearance Requirements: Individuals must be a US Citizen and have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

U. S. Citizenship required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder/stair. Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate. backss Occasionally must be able to distinguish specific scents to backss and respond. Frequently moves Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility. Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions. May be exposed to chemicals associated with the work performed.
