Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the FIAR program. Analyze automated financial system process maps and data flow to provide web-based solutions. Determine the reliability of reportable financial information in support of audit readiness. Review and correct obligation and disbursement reconciliations on auditable financial statements.

Advise and train program managers on processing accounting transactions and reconciling accounting/financial reports. Develop a variety of reports, papers, procedures, and instructions to accomplish financial audit readiness goals. by a completed background investigation. This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. This position requires the incumbent to possess a FM Certification Level 2.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: utilizing various financial systems (such as General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) and Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A)) to initiate reports, perform research, analyze financial transactions or adjustments, or resolve financial data discrepancies; interpreting, applying, and providing guidance on regulations governing Financial Management and Accounting programs; gathering and analyzing financial program data to verify accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures; and maintaining, evaluating, or improving automated financial systems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
