Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed examination to Director and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of patient following the procedure.

Identifies anatomical orientation on all required images and ensures proper film identification on all images. Coordinates radiographic examination to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care and assists with the management of the work flow of the department to ensure the completion

of the work assignments in the absence of the Director. Document correctly and accurately patient information to ensure the quality of patient care. Demonstrates competency and proficiency in radiation protection, protecting self and other personnel during all radiologic examinations and shields patients properly.

Demonstrates ability to organize patient care and set priorities by providing critical care first and by implementing the physician's orders. Reports all safety hazards that could harm patients, visitors or other hospital employees to Director immediately. Keeps Director informed of any unusual concerns, situations or conditions relative to staff, patients and physicians. Attends

in-services as required, as documented by sign-in sheets.

Performs other related duties as requested. The ability to make clear and prompt decisions to ensure the safety patients being imaged. Job Qualifications: Education/Experience Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program. Passed the ARRT exam for Radiologic Technologist earning the credential of RT (R) Passed the ARRT exam for MRI Technologist earning the credential of RT (MR) Passed the ARRT exam for CT earning the credential of RT (CT) Valid state of Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License BLS Special Requirements Occasional exposure to ionizing radiation. Requires standing, lifting and walking regularly during the shift. Occasional exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
