Goodwill's Retail Division. We currently have locations across the state of Colorado. Minimum Pay starts at $18.65 Hr. Please Note: This position is a supervisory position, is full-time and will require open availability (including evenings and weekends). Our operating hours will soon return

to 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and 9 am to 7 pm Sunday. Shifts for this position could start as early as 7 am and go as late as 10 pm. OBJECTIVE: The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day, tactical and practical leadership of associates and teams across the entire retail center.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Generally responsible for monitoring the whole retail center and addressing immediate issues of safety, customer focus, product flow and aesthetics either personally or through delegation (aka “Management by Walking Around”) Employee leadership + Manages breaks + Redirects staff/work teams to address call-offs + Coaches employees verbally and with initial write-ups +

Provides input to reviews and terminations + Facilitates employee purchases Task/Functional leadership + Assists in opening and closing procedures + Responsible for the verification step related to the daily sales report paperwork + Responsible for counting drawers + Responsible for making change between drawers and safe + Assist with inventory process by counting, entering, verifying Customer Focus + Plan, coordinate and control the activities of the customer service team to maintain and enhance customer relationships and meet organizational and operational objectives + First escalation point for customer complaints + Point of contact for turning down donations at ADC Cross-training + Maintains knowledge of store procedures at the proficiency of a generalist with the ability to occasionally fill in for an emergency + Maintains knowledge to the level where operations can be maintained in the rare case where no Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Manager is able to be on premises.

QUALIFICATIONS: Previous supervisory experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Two years’ retail experience desired Familiar with product pricing, trends, fashions and seasonal changes Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers.

Able to quickly problem solve and make decisions. Able to maintain confidentiality and follow Goodwill’s policies and procedures. Able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up to 8 hours per day. Able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays with occasional overtime as necessary. Proficient in the utilization of office equipment, office software (i. e. Word, Excel) and web based applications (i. e. Ultipro, Novatime) to meet the needs of employees and the organization. Supervisor must have a Safety-First mentality and be trained in and adhere to LOTO procedures, Confined Space Safety, GMP & Food Safety as well as all OSHA required safety training. Position Roles & Responsibilities: Supervises & Monitors condition of plant & employees during scheduled shifts.

Trains and develops employees in accordance with process and food safety programs. Ensures all proper documentation is complete and accurate. Monitors Safety, Quality & Production to meet company targets and standards. Completes all production reports, inventory reports and down-time reports. Ensures Line Lead & Bagging Line Lead reports are complete and accurate. Consults management for production

plans to include re-blending. Consults with QA Lab to ensure quality specs are achieved. Initiates changes in process as needed. Works with the Safety Specialist to identify Safety hazards and put corrective actions in place.

Documents employee issues, complaints, work related injury or illness. Participants in outgoing/incoming shift handover meetings. Keeps work areas clean and free from debris. Complete all other tasks & responsibilities as assigned by management. Knowledge & Skills: Must possess at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a production environment. Must have strong communication skills, bi-lingual is a plus. Must possess basic Microsoft Office understanding and skill.

Must have a basic understanding of GMP's & Food Safety policies.

Must be able to be certified in LOTO, Confined Space & Forklift Safety. Education: High School diploma/GED required. Tech school or job-related experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend or move repetitively for up to 12 hours. Shift work required and overtime as needed. Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance and 100lbs with assistance. Ability to tolerate dusty environments as well as chemical residue smells. Bending, stretching, lifting, climbing & crawling are required on a regular basis. Must be able and willing to work in a plant environment with exposure to hot & cold, steam, dust, wet/humid conditions with low lit areas and loud noises.
