Diagnose and complete basic and complex repair activities at customer sites. Maintain equipment by performing inspections to identify work and/or damaged parts.

Diagnose and repair vehicles according to OEM guidelines. Correct vehicle deficiencies by replacing, repairing, and adjusting parts. This may include disassembly of major components, subcomponents, or systems to include engine, drive train, electrical, air conditioning, cabs, clutches, or other components.

Perform repairs within given timelines. Complete road tests for vehicles, which may include the need to drive such vehicles. Document detailed steps taken for repairs, and properly document time needed to complete repairs via computer system. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on vehicles. Properly dispose of any fluids. Clean workspace when repairs are complete.

Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Maintain a professional image at all times. Follow general safety rules for each job. Must supply tools to make job as efficient as possible. Must be able to travel out of state on a frequent basis for weeks at a time Complete continuing education courses as needed. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : At least 4 years of heavy duty diesel mechanic experience required. Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school preferred (or equivalent experience). Training on multiple different classes of heavy-duty trucks is highly preferred. Class A or B CDL is required. Possess a strong attention to detail. Ability to ready and comprehend instructions and information.

Willing to continue education as directed is a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Safety glasses and safety shoes are required at all times. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day scheduling of the facilities team. The following leadership expectations are required: Model the way Establish a safe environment Set expectations and hold people accountable Grow people for improved performance Deliver results Essential Functions Assists to maintain the operation of Art Center building systems and related equipment to include chillers, air handlers, boilers,

pumps, steam valves, and other mechanical equipment. Coordinates the daily (7 days a week) cleaning of the facility which include restrooms, breakroom, damp mop/dust mop all floors, vacuuming, window washing, and trash removal.

Overseas the shift scheduling for all Facilities Associates team Other Responsibilities Upholds the Art Center's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction knowledge required. Knowledge of building systems to include all HVAC equipment. Knowledge of chiller operation and related equipment including piping, valves, pumps, cooling tower, and other related equipment. Knowledge of hot water and steam boilers and the operation of related equipment. Knowledge of Energy Management Systems such as Johnson Controls, Seimens, etc. Knowledge of power tools and use. General knowledge of plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

Able to balance multiple priorities and demands simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook. Ability to focus on solving conflict, not blaming; maintaining confidentiality; listens to others without interrupting; keeping emotions under control and remaining open to others' ideas and tries new things. Required Education, Experience and/or Certification Associates degree in engineering, facilities management or related field; or training and experience which provides the requisite skill and ability. Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on maintenance and HVAC experience. Valid driver's license is required. Decision Making Participates in day-to-day decision making within established facilities procedures and organizational policies, utilizing good judgment in situations that require balancing multiple priorities and demands simultaneously.

Special Considerations (Work Environment, Schedule, Required Travel, etc. ) Indoor and outdoor work is preformed, sometimes in adverse weather conditions including extreme cold and heat. Shift times vary to ensure the museum has adequate Maintenance staffing support. Work outside of normal hours may be required for weather events and special programming. Physical Factors The demand of this position often requires a high level of physical endurance. Work is medium to heavy requiring a minimum exertion of 75 lbs of force occasionally and 45 lbs of force frequently to move and carry objects.

Noise level associated with this position is usually moderate but can fluctuate between being occasionally quiet and sometimes very loud. Employees are frequently exposed to dirt, water, grease and oil while performing job duties. While performing the requirements of this job, employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods. Ensure shipments are completed timely, safely, and accurately. This will also include photographing and managing the electronic documentation for shipments. Managing workflow by controlling distribution to hourly employees and monitoring progress. Conducting cycle counts on inventory items. Two years of warehouse experience in a shipping department.

Experience in blueprint reading, measuring, and manufacturing preferred.

Must be proficient in Microsoft WORD, Excel and Power Point with the ability to type 50 words per minute. Experience in Outlook, a plus. Must also have above average interpersonal and written skills, with ability to prioritize assignments and adapt to changes in daily tasks when necessary Limited travel required.
