Duties and Responsibilities: Collect samples from the finished product warehouse for testing using Chemstar procedures. Manage sample retains as required. Perform and document Quality Assurance tests required for each product. Maintain plant files and records for Chemstar's Quality Program. Stay current with the Quality Program, customer specifications,
and product codes. Sample, test, and assist with unloading raw materials. Work with the Quality Leader on managing lab supplies, equipment, and calibrations.
Monitor that finished products are presentable and accurately marked and packaged. Maintain a safe, organized work environment that ensures all employees are compliant with Chemstar's safety practices and procedures. These practices include, but are not limited to wearing proper safety equipment, safe material handling (knowing SDS information on all materials handled, or exposed to), proper lifting techniques, first aid locations, etc. Required Competencies: Ability to learn and follow written and verbal instructions. Proficient
in basic math and metric system. Proficient using Microsoft Office products.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, and in small teams (2-3 people). Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED. 2 years of test laboratory experience, or 2 years of quality assurance experience preferred Working Conditions: The job will mostly require working in a laboratory setting with some duties requiring work outdoors or in the manufacturing area. Lab conditions are at standard room temperature and humidity. Outdoor work varies by season. Manufacturing areas are noisy, hot, and dusty.

in proper working order by performing production level maintenance when necessary. Write " Work Orders" for equipment repairs into the CMMS whenever needed.
Perform product cutbacks when required. Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform other related duties as assigned. Material Handling Operate Industrial Powered Trucks (Forklifts) Safely. Safely operate stretch hood wrappers and top-feed palletizers. Assist in wrapping pallets and loading trucks. Cap & Band pallet according to customer specifications. Load Pallets, Slip Sheets, and Stretch Wrap as required. Perform special bag labeling and bag adjustments. Safely load and/or offload Flatbeds, Containers, and Vans
(WHSE). Received-IN and Ship-OUT all freight (WHSE). Prepare Export papers, Bills of Lading, COA's, etc.
(WHSE). Maintain records of lot numbers, shipping dates, and carrier (WHSE). Provide customers with MSDS and product samples (WHSE). Housekeeping Properly maintain Packaging and Warehouse housekeeping (tour ready). Report dust leaks to supervisor immediately. Required Competencies: Production Knowledge : This is an " entry level" path to learn Warehouse and Manufacturing skills.
