PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position is responsible for the operation of spray equipment and the effective application of pesticides or fertilizer. Regular hours can vary, extended hours will be necessary during peak times and as business dictates. The purpose of this position is to increase service performance and excellence to our customers by performing tasks associated with the day‐to‐day operations of our retail Agronomy supply and service operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates all spray equipment and fertilizer floater equipment safely Apply pesticides with applicable calibrated rates, accurately and efficiently Mixing, loading and application of pesticides/fertilizers Handles and
delivers bulk and packaged chemicals Follow state and federal application regulations Performs daily vehicle inspections Cleans and maintains equipment Maintain application/spray records Manage customer service relations Organize and coordinate application timetable with customers Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess the following: High school diploma or equivalent Chemical Applicators License preferred Maintain a valid driver's license and commercial insurability Team player Experience in operating heavy farm machinery Comfort with basic mathematics PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Moderate to heavy lifting is required (60 lbs.
) on a regular
basis. Work conditions may include dust, fumes, moderate to loud noise levels, uneven surfaces, various heights.
Ability to climb ladders and perform tasks at elevated positions. Ability to work near moving equipment, outside and insider, and in all‐ weather conditions. While performing the duties of the job, it is required to speak, hear, see, and use hands/fingers to operate a computer, telephone, equipment, etc. Ability to regularly stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull. Meet the physical and mental demands of working seasonal long hours, climbing ladders, repetitive heavy lifting, and prioritizing multiple tasks during peak workload times.
Understand and comply with OSHA, MDA, DOT, EPA, MPCA and other regulations. Work efficiently while always keeping yourself and others safe. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and Manage the Production Team Serve as the direct report for the production staff team.
Plan for upcoming events and production needs. Provide oversight of production staff health and growth through meetings, agendas, schedules, and event planning. Production Equipment Support Provide support for all production equipment across all campuses. This includes knowing the functionality and any potential upgrades of all the production equipment, along with
associated troubleshooting and maintenance. Broadcast Configuration Create, schedule, and edit services to stream or be ready to stream and broadcast to campuses and other locations.
Stage and Lighting Design In charge of ideating, designing and executing deployment of approved stage designs. This includes programming lights for weekend services and events. Dream Team and Staff Training Responsible for training of dream teamers and staff on equipment. Responsible for scheduling and running team training nights and developing leader roles within the production team.
