AMETEK SCP, a business unit of AMETEK EIP is located in Westerly, Rhode Island. Job description: The position is responsible for assembling of product components and hand soldering of connectors.

To ensure success in this role you should possess a strong knowledge of product assembly and experience in a similar industry. This position performs assembling and soldering electrical components, systems, and assemblies. Following procedures for soldering connector ends, assembly of connector and how to select solder, flux, and cleaning requirements is preferred.

All solders are trained and certified to the J-STD 001. Solder's may require crimping contacts to conductors per router, drawing and procedure when applicable.

Major Duties: Performing hand soldering of electronic assemblies, components, and systems Experience performing soldering under a magnifying glass, is a plus. Experience with hand crimping of a variety of contact styles. Ability to read and work from assembly prints, schematics and procedures is a must. Minding quality and detailed work, with precision and care. Maintaining a clean and safe workstation. Requirements for Consideration: High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in technical field preferred Two+ years

in an equivalent role with extensive hands-on experience.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMPOSITE MATERIALS MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN As a Composite Materials Manufacturing Technician, you fabricate and assemble composite parts. Maintaining a high degree of precision, you laminate, use vacuum bags, operate ovens, and perform cosmetic finishing work. Safely set-up and operate multiple CNC machines with minimal assistance. 2. Operation of large format 3 and 5 axis CNC Machines 3. Study daily work instruction, sketches, drawings, blueprints and manuals to determine dimensions and tolerances accurately.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DESIGNER As a Designer, you play an essential role in bridging

the gap between a vision and reality. You use computer-assisted design and drafting equipment as well as various software tools to develop designs for our manufacturing company.

Using your keen eye for detail, you analyze engineering sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. Most of your day will be creating and editing 3D models and 2D technical and shop drawings to build the next blockbuster amusement park ride or underwater drone to explore the deepest depths. You also provide production support to the machining area and production supervisors as needed.
