The Cleaning Technician will perform routine checks and cleaning of equipment, vehicles, and facility following established procedures/standards. Essential Functions: Work safely with minimal direction or supervision. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Follow safety guidelines
and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. Read, understand, and follow cleaning practices/safety procedures related to the use of hazardous chemicals (SDS).
Execute sanitation schedule consisting of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Semi-Annual, and Annual tasks. Clean and sanitize machines and machine parts used in the production of food using chemicals, high pressure spraying and scrubbing. Check for the correct chemical concentration using titration kits. Remove trash, recycling and general clean up around facility Operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance and cleaning. Perform or assist in minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging
pipes. Perform limited grounds maintenance such as sweeping and cleaning snow from sidewalks.
Maintain a neat and orderly supply room; ensuring cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Knowledge and prior use of commercial cleaning equipment. Preferred Education and Experience Experience working in BRC certified environment.
