Job Description: HPE Financial Services is seeking a Strategic Events & Marketing Manager - HPE Financial Services (HPEFS). This high-profile,
mid-career role focuses on two distinct areas. The role’s primary focus is supporting HPEFS planning and integration into key strategic customer and partner events.
This includes helping establish a clear vision, purpose and goals and leading the execution of the event plan, including HPEFS inclusion in HPE Discover. The secondary focus area is to help drive and grow HPEFS’ marketing engagements through buying journey content creation, messaging, and campaign planning and execution. The role requires someone who is a good writer and can articulate complex messages in simple and easy-to-understand ways through various marketing vehicles (digital, social, sales presentations, etc. ) Because
of the diverse focus areas, the role requires someone good at managing many activities at once.
Someone level-headed and able to think and act both strategically and tactically. This role also has senior executive visibility so having a high degree of emotional and business intelligence is essential. Responsibilities: Create, implement, and manage a global event strategy framework with an overarching plan focused on vision, purpose, and goals. Ownership and oversight of the HPEFS strategic event program, including coordinating and executing various event programs, end-to-end planning and logistics. Create and maintain marketing content aligned to the various stages of the buying journey.
Write and maintain outcomes-based customer-focused stories highlighting our solutions’ impact on their businesses. Build strong and productive relationships with HPE counterparts, HP and targeted Track results and measure impacts to establish the most effective means of customer and channel partner engagement. Education, skills, and experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent; MBA or Master’s degree preferred 2-5 years work experience in events and/or marketing Highly motivated, go-getter personality, creative, fast learner and highly adaptable Open to feedback and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, providing input on all projects.
