As a Biologist, GS-0401-12/13, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Work with biologists across multiple agencies to draft planning and backssment documents

for humpback chub and other species managed by the Recovery Program. Conduct ongoing review of and provide direction/oversight for program elements, evaluate their technical sufficiency and effectiveness, and provide periodic reports to Recovery Program committees.

Develop annual program guidance, work plans and budgets for these activities and coordinate activities and assignments with Recovery Program participants and appropriate Recovery Program committees, U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service units, state wildlife agencies, and others. The Recovery Program is a multi-agency cooperative effort established to recover four species of threatened/endangered fish in the upper Colorado River

basin while water use and development proceed in accordance with state and federal laws.

Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, Western Area Power Administration, water development and hydropower interests, and environmental organization.
