Manage the university’s transfer articulation processes to ensure accurate backssment of transfer coursework from other institutions; partner with Schools and departments to design, develop, and release transfer articulation database workflows Evaluate the effectiveness of existing procedures and policies and develop improvements in the enrollment, degree progress, tuition backssment, and grading operations and functions; conduct regular audits of student enrollment and degree data, and instructor grading data within the student information systems; responsible for ensuring adherence to academic policy and university guidelines in the timely and accurate response to University policies and exception requests.
Manage and continuously reevaluate all vendor relationships to ensure the successful issuance of diplomas, e Diplomas, transcripts, degree verifications, and enrollment certifications in compliance with university policies and ensure the exchange of secure student data for these verification and issuance purposes.
Ensure appropriate physical, technical, and administrative controls are in place to protect student academic data applicable to a student’s educational record under FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). Minimum & Preferred Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated skills in managing and developing staff. Advanced understanding of higher education administration and operations of the Registrar’s Office. Advanced skills in analysis and development of complex business processes and ability to translate to solutions. Advanced interpersonal skills and leads through collaboration. Working Conditions: This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days of onsite work a week at Stanford's Redwood City campus. May work extended or non-standard hours based on project or business needs. The program provides comprehensive training and experience to highly-qualified postdoctoral trainees so that they may effectively engage in and lead research and implementation activities aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of the U. S. health care system. The program invites applicants interested in pursuing research in: health systems change; managed care and payment
policy; implementation science; patient, provider, and organizational decision-making; health outcomes measurement and comparative effectiveness analysis; patient-centered care; and health equity, access, and quality of care for diverse populations.
There are both current openings as well as openings that begin July 1, 2024. Candidates must be U. S. Citizens or permanent residents and have obtained a Ph. D. medical degree, or other professional doctoral degree before they begin the program. Awards will last two years.
