Conducts comprehensive reviews of statutes, rules, policies, and/or procedures related to agricultural water conservation. Research and reviews technical papers, permits, publications, and reports. Performs data collection, research, analysis, and evaluations related to agricultural conservation. May assist with planning, coordinating, developing, and evaluating crop water use estimates and reports on statewide annual agricultural irrigation water use. Maintains confidential and sensitive information. Ensures individual and team files (electronic and hard versions) are appropriately maintained and timely disposed of in accordance with the agency's records retention procedures and schedule.
Maintains required certifications and licenses and meets the continuing education needs and requirements of the position to include, attending mandatory training courses. May be required to operate a state or personal vehicle for business purposes. Assists with maintaining master hard copies and electronic copies of TWDB policies, procedures, guidelines, checklists, forms and reference materials. Assists with any special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with bachelor's degree in Water/Natural Resources, Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field. One year of work experience in water conservation, agriculture, stakeholder outreach, or other areas related to the job duties. Relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree from an accredited college or university with master's or doctorate degree in Water/Natural Resources, Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field.
Three years of work experience in water conservation, agriculture, stakeholder outreach, or other areas related to the job duties. Experience in agricultural water use and conservation, managing contracts, providing technical assistance, or other related duties. Familiarity with agriculture production, practices, and irrigation water use in Texas. Familiarity with the use of Arc GIS and remote sensing software. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to Agricultural Water Conservation Team, and of the principles and practices of public administration.
Knowledge of contract management and state government contracting principles and practices. Knowledge of irrigation water use concepts and agricultural best management practices. Knowledge of the use of Arc GIS software. Skills in using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Access. Skills in use of internet, email, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software. Ability to adhere to work schedules, follow procedures with respect to leave and submit accurate timesheets by prescribed deadlines.
Ability to make mature, objective decisions and identify areas of potential problems. year of relevant Ophthalmology experience. Certification/Registration/Licensure -Must be certified in Ophthalmology by the Joint Commission Allied Health Personnel (JCAHPO) upon hire.

Tests patients for Goldmann visual fields to assist in determining the extent of development of a disease process.
3. Tests patients for Humphrey visual fields to assist in determining the progression of glaucoma and disease processes. 4. Tests patients using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to assist in determining the extent or progression of disease processes when needed. 5. Makes initial contact with patients, providing ocular evaluations (i. e. visual acuity, automatic refractions, lensometry) to assist the provider in patient backssment. 6. Prepares and handles instruments to assist in minor surgery.
7. Instruct patients on contact lenses' care and handling (insertion and removal) to ensure proper patient care and safety. 8. Gathers information and lab reports for physicians to expedite patient exams. 9. Cleans and stocks lanes (inventory supplies) and reports depleted supplies to ensure sufficient supplies and materials are available. 10. Maintains equipment inventory to maintain supplies and avoid shortages 11. Attends in-services and continuing education clinics to ensure ongoing certification. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices. 12. May administer unit dose medications under the direction of the delegating physician according to department policies and procedures after completing competencies and signing the Physician-Unit Based Medication Administration Delegation form.
13. Identifies and analyzes the design of jobs, work processes, workflows, etc. for areas assigned. 14. Modifies approach, communication, and interaction to take account of sensory impairments and specific needs of all patients, in particular older adults. 15. Recommends appropriate changes to improve effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency that support the department's and Parkland's overall goals.
16. Maintains and/or coordinates maintenance for all photo equipment, i. e. photographic equipment, scopes, lasers, etc. to ensure proper working condition of equipment at all times. 17. Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer (internal as well as external) satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor and implements and monitors results as appropriate in support of Parkland's overall goals and mission. 18.
