Clinical Quality Improvement RN to join our Home Care team. In this role, you will be the compliance " guru" for our Home Health team in Twin Falls, ID. You will be responsible for insurance regulation changes and educating our home health staff and system home health leaders on appropriate charting of patients’ health conditions, and their activity abilities to ethically maximize insurance reimbursements.
Responsibilities The Clinical Quality Improvement - RN, contributes to the development and implementation of an organization-wide clinical quality improvement program. Implements and maintains programs designed to backss and improve the quality and safety of patient care.
Collaborates with clinical stakeholders to meet internal and external quality standards. Manages the collection, evaluation, and reporting of clinical outcomes to identified stakeholders.
Confirms that policies and procedures are in compliance with state, federal, and regulatory agencie's standards. Prepare reports and assist with clinical research reporting as needed. Collaborates with patient coordinators to educate practitioners about quality and safety metrics and improvement initiatives. Examine existing processes, policies, and procedures to reveal improvement opportunities. Conducts regular safety and sanitation rounds. Prepares and presents analysis and recommendations. Perform
other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: Graduate from a nursing program Experience: 3 years of RN experience required; experience in compliance, metrics, reporting and insurance/medicare/Joint Commission regulations knowledge with regards to backssments and charting preferred.
Education and Home Health nursing is also helpful. Responsibilities include electrical acceptance and maintenance testing of medium and high voltage apparatus as well as all aspects of AC and DC control circuit verification.
Additional responsibilities include participation in all EPCS and client safety and testing training programs. The successful candidates will assist with testing of power transformers, medium and high voltage circuit breakers, instrument transformers, switches, reactors, capacitor banks, grounding systems, switchgear and protective relays and control
systems. As abilities grow, the successful candidates will prepare quotes for testing work and will write formal test reports for clients. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining equipment and shipping and receiving equipment.
Minimum Requirements: Successful completion of Electric Utility Substation and Relay Technology program or similar program; experience in testing and maintenance on medium and high voltage systems or nuclear testing is a plus.
