Position Responsibilities The candidate is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position: Liaison for new model launch Quality Assurance functions between NA customers and overseas facilities for Pass-Thru-Parts (Parts not represented by North American Plants). Leader for new model launch document review and submissions

to customer portals. Maneuver various customer portals to understand customer specific requirements and launch requirements. Facilitate new model launch internal OBEYA activity (launch performance tracking).

Assist overseas locations with quality improvement activity. Coordinate containment activities at warehouse locations in North/South America as needed. Work closely with Program Management team to understand launch timing and requirements during regular team meetings. Participate in NA Quality Managers and NA Quality Group meetings. Support data and information gathering for the NA Quality Performance Report. Participate in training for the Aisin Way and Industry Standards as needed.

Work closely with Aisin NA Plants (NAP) and other office locations to support a " One Aisin" Team approach.

Required Skills and Abilities Essential Skills and Experience: Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (primary focus on MS Excel). Ability to coordinate and negotiate with customer and overseas AISIN facilities. Good project management and coordination skills. Root cause analysis and problem-solving capability. (Core Quality Skills) 3-5 years of experience performing, planning or supporting high volume manufacturing operations. Core Documents: Control Plan and PFMEA. APQP Beneficial Skills and Experience Knowledge of 7 Basic QC Tools.

Working knowledge of MS Access is beneficial. Education/Training/Certifications BA/BS preferred. Work Environment Requirements Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone and other office equipment. Must perform job duties onsite, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits). Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged. Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.

Must be able to operate as an effective team member. Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies. Attendance/Work Hour Requirements Must maintain an acceptable attendance record. Must be willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs. Must be willing to attend late night or early morning meetings due to time zone differences with overseas locations. Travel Requirements Approximately 25-30 % Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
