Major Accountabilities: Provide guidance and instruction to Quality Assurance Technicians Implement and maintain the quality system to support QS 9000 requirements.
Audit the quality system. Review all PPAP packages. Source and track check fixture builds. Programming of CMM. Interprets GD&T for CMM data fits. Transfer of CMM data to lotus. Oversee the 8D tracking program. Develop relationships with key customer contacts. Ensure that the Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan requirements are followed
for each new part launch. Attend launch meetings to track the introduction of new product. Supervisors are responsible for the regular oversight, completion and monitoring of Environmental Management Program tasks related to their assigned areas of responsibility.
Working Conditions: • 10% office, 90% plant floor (PPE required)Decision Making and Authority: This position has authority over supervision and hourly personnel on quality issues. This position has the authority over Quality Assurance Technicians and to issue necessary disciplinary action. Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. Bachelor's Degree in business, Human Services, or a related field required Minimum two years human resources experience required minimum one-year supervisory experience Knowledge of recruitment methods, learning theories, labor laws and OSHA regulations Ability to communicate effectively, make presentations and write concise reports for all levels of employees Knowledge of CARF standards preferred Knowledge of Team Building and Total Quality Management philosophies preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to travel between offices and community sites.
