the Quality Manager. s. M ai nt ai n a c l e a n a nd s a f e w ork e nvi r o n m e nt. Do product audits for conformity at the following locations, at plating line load/unload, final inspections, plant/warehouse, assembly cells.

Review plating line process parameter sheets for compliance to specified setting. Provide support for issues related to mold defects that are being found on the line. Verify that the defect is truly a mold defect. If confirmed capture mold date in use at the time fall out rate. Report that information to Quality management, Material management. Support production in finding a new material lot. Retain defective parts and begin the process of contacting the customer/vendor.

In some cases, the customer is also the molder and they need to be contacted to establish their reaction plan, which can be to continue to run in spite of the defect. Coordinate the reaction activity when mold defects are found off the plating line, shutdown jobs with mold over plan, verify defect, contain suspect material both plated and mold, contact QE for disposition with customer or supplier. Final Inspection part quality audit, support the plant trainer in training inspection and capturing boundary/limit samples for trainer and QE's. Cage parts per the control plan both in the plant and at the warehouse, back up and/or perform receiving inspector activity as needed at the warehouse.

Review Customer returns and retain samples to be used to retrain unloaders and Insure material to be placed on hold is correctly identified and place in the correct hold area.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the following minimum education qualifications: Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a College level program.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the following minimum work experience qualifications: Must have at least 1-2 years experience in data entry in an inventory setting, with preference given to those who have 3-5 years experience. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5. Working knowledge of CAD, Oracle, and Unix. Previous experience in a unionized environment. Working Conditions This position involves a moderate exposure to risk of accident and requires following basic safety precautions.

Work is normally performed in a shared work environment, divided between the shop floor and an interior work space. Primary Purpose of Job Under the direction of the quality engineer, quality manager or small aero quality lead, this position is responsible for applying technical expertise and manufacturing skills to all phases of Cleveland's forging producibility. This position does not supervise other personnel. The candidate communicates throughout their shift with production supervisors and operators with primary focus of this role being on the floor at final repair and final inspection.

This position will be assigned to the off shift and this employee will be relied upon to uphold the standards of our quality system and assist production personnel with problem solving as issues arise. Accountability Objectives Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems, procedures, and equipment to meet customer and Company quality requirements. Determining conformity or non-conformity of the quality system with the specified documentation and implementation requirements.

Applying Quality Assurance Support through operator training, verification and establishment of inspection methods and procedures, along with ensuring conformance to product requirements. Assisting production personnel proactively to resolve product or process issues. Conducting internal audits as scheduled including the preparation of audit reports, the initiation of associated corrective actions, and the maintenance of audit files. Striving to continually improve products and processes to enhance or exceed internal and external customer expectations, while determining the effectiveness of adopted quality systems.

Monitoring and tracking process and product control parameters to validate process reliability and capability. Participating in real-time process management support. Monitoring and assisting outside suppliers to assure compliance to customer specifications and Howmet requirements. Conducting training to support product and process quality, productivity, continuous improvement, and safety performance. Managing Final Inspection product realization through dimensional, surface, marking identification, and specification requirement verification.
