occasional deliveries out of town. POSITION SCOPE The Ready Mix Driver must be able to operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump and drive to job site. The individual will be responsible to safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
Servicing and maintaining equipment on a daily basis. The position is based in Billings, MT area and requires travel. PRIMARY DUTIES Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals. Must adhere to all company regulations for federal and state DOT safety policies. Work in adverse weather conditions Maintain accurate logbooks and timecards. Willing to operate any vehicle assigned.
Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance. Make accurate and prompt deliveries. Communicate with dispatch, maintenance and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean truck appearance inside and out. Climbing in and out of truck daily. Become familiar with our products. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicant must be at least 18 years old. Must have a valid Commercial Driver License Class A (preferred) or Class B (minimum requirement) and maintain clean driving record. Must be able to enter and deliver material into refinery. Previous truck driving experience
(concrete experience preferred, but not required) Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work flexible shifts including night, weekends and overtime.
