Duties and responsibilities you may own in this role: Demonstrate safe and proper restraint of fractious animals Participate in receiving and giving rounds to ensure continuity of care Administer subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications and understand potential adverse effects of medications Perform nursing care tasks such as placing and/or maintaining urinary catheters, nasoenteral tubes, nasal oxygen tubes, chest and abdominal tubes. Exceptional nursing care skills for a variety of hospitalized patients Experience with anesthetic procedures in an ER environment Exceptional nursing care skills for a variety of hospitalized patients Triaging and admitting emergent cases Diagnostic procedures such as radiographs and a variety of in house lab work Continually demonstrate exceptional and empathetic client communication and education whether it be in written or verbal form in a timely manner.
