Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Present, cross-sell, and open deposit accounts and other financial products and services • Establish and maintain healthy and ongoing relationships with all customers • Interview new account customers and perform other functions such as setting up records, verifying references, and holding uncollected funds • Meet with Customer Service Manager and Branch Manager consistently to discuss new customers, prospects, and follow-up plans • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of current Bank products and services • Maintain confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures • Provide timely and accurate resolutions to account-related issues • Provide backup branch operations duties and functions • Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts and endorsements, enter all necessary information in data processing systems, issue receipts, cash checks utilizing appropriate verification standards and balance accurately and completely • Place holds on accounts as required and complete appropriate documentation for holds placed • Answer a variety of customer inquiries and maintain a working knowledge of bank services • Comply with Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations.
