in our West Memphis, AR. location. Responsibilities Manages warehouse activities by monitoring productivity and daily work schedules of warehouse employees performing shipping, receiving, reconditioning and storage of EFCO forms via pounds per man hour objectives, percentage of lease pool equipment reconditioned, status of damaged beyond repair (DBR) and unreturned equipment (URE), safety and quality objectives and equipment returns completed within three (3) working days.
Ensures warehouse workloads run at full capacity. Maintains oversight of equipment returns and ensures accuracy and compliance with EFCO return procedures. Prioritizes and pushes equipment into reconditioning process
as needed for scheduled shipments or to achieve percentage of lease pool equipment reconditioned.
Conducts direct customer contacts for all damaged beyond repair (DBR) and unreturned equipment (URE) issues to begin discrepancy resolution. Records contact and customer feedback in 660 Collection Notes. Directs trucking and shipping operations. Conducts daily equipment reallocation as necessary to maximize EFCO lease pool utilization and minimize freight expense. Ensures shipment coordination with internal and external customers. Makes shipment schedule adjustments as needed. Leads and directs administrative functions, such as develop and train new and current employees, employee reviews and development planning as well as assist in providing feedback regarding salary administration.
Handles all disciplinary actions. Inspects materials produced to ensure quality. Determines spacing requirements for storage and ensures compliance with EFCOs storage, equipment palletizing, standard bundle quantities, banding procedures and meet customer requirements. Ensures inventory accuracy. Coordinates and reviews safety and environmental issues of the warehouse and office facilities. Ensures maintenance of equipment and a safe, clean environment. Performs other job-related duties and special projects including but not limited to coordinating exports to international operations.
Requirements College degree or equivalent, plus 6-8 years experience in manufacturing or distribution. Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations is essential. Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational, and PC skills are required. Must work effectively under pressure, exercise good judgment, and be a good negotiator. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
