Overview This position will receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse for the J. F. Electric, Inc. C&I department. Duties/Responsibilities: Fill orders and deliver the product, as directed by the warehouse manager.
Stage material in the holding area until ready for delivery (material and tools). Inform warehouse manager of items not in stock or stock items that are low in inventory. Load trucks based on locations of job sites and routes planned, minimizing mileage and time when possible. Speak with the foreman at each job site to ensure the following: Arrange the
location where he wants material/tools unloaded. Give him a JF packing slip, pointing out items that are not on the truck and when he can expect delivery on those items.
Pick up any tools, material, and/or paperwork as directed by the foreman to be returned to the JF shop. Keep warehouse office and all warehouses as neat as possible. Keep items off the floor in aisles. Make sure trucks are fueled, oil is checked, and preventive maintenance vehicle checks are performed to avoid engine damage and/or breakdowns. If problems are found, notify the warehouse manager or mechanic. Deliver trucks/equipment as directed by the warehouse manager. Perform housekeeping duties and/or building maintenance
as directed by the warehouse manager. Notify warehouse manager of any " unsafe" conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned. Cross-train in all facets of the Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time. The person in this role will uphold the culture of J. F. Electric, including relationship building with customers as well as general behavior on J. F. Electric or client premises or at J. F. Electric sponsored events. Requirements/Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years' work experience, preferably in a warehouse environment Valid CDL Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Prepare products for shipping by stacking in an orderly and stable configuration, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence. Attach labels on product. Properly operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to proceed to correct slot location, and
transport product to dock area for staging. Handle products with the necessary care. Report any damage of merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor. Perform daily equipment checks.
Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area that the supervisor may assign. Sign in and out for all equipment when used. Use basic communication skills to understand work systems, instructions, etc. Adhere to all applicable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), personal hygiene, and SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures as described in the European Imports Sysco Food Safety Training Manual. Experience Six months of prior warehouse experience is preferred. Professional Skills Ability to handle up to 80 lbs. 20 lbs. regularly is required. Performs all duties safely, accurately and meets set productivity standards and goals ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure pallets received meet defined requirements. Enter/scan accurately upon item receipt the LPN (license plate number), catch-weight, manufacture date, expiration date, etc. into the warehouse management system utilizing RF equipment. Ensure all item information is appropriately recorded into the warehouse
management system by verifying and entering piece count and weights against bills of lading, invoices and other records. Inspect product being moved for shortages, damage, quality, or deterioration of packing and report to supervisor.
Record all overages, shortages and damages on the OS&D form. Verify refrigerated (cooler) and frozen product temperatures are taken according to established PWMs. Follow temperature abuse process and established PWMs if product temperature is out of accepted tolerance range. Record and communicate vendor compliance issues by completing the vendor compliance form during receipt according to established PWMs. Apply blind LPNs according to established PWMs

Report repair or service needs to supervisor to avoid damage or an unsafe condition. Must successfully complete the receiving certification process and testing. Responsible for the neatness and cleanliness of assigned work areas and travel aisles, and the accuracy of warehouse locations. Report any unfixable/unsafe issues immediately to supervisor. Observe and enforce all safety rules to eliminate accidents and injuries. Operate appropriate MHE, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and orderly manner to eliminate accidents and injuries.
Observe proper lifting techniques and physical work practices in accordance with established PWMs. Ensure that MHE is maintained (perform daily inspection) and clean; report repair or service needs to supervisor to minimize equipment damage and down time. Use warehouse computers and RF equipment in a safe and professional manner to avoid damage to equipment.
