Responsibilities Collecting products from the warehouse and safely loading onto trucks and vice versa Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return Helping keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping Managing all products with appropriate care Assisting with training of newly employed workers Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination Drive safely and operate
in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws as related to motor carrier safety regulations Deliver lubricant products, either in bulk form or package, to customers throughout the local territories Load and unload product in and out of truck, in a manner compliant with company policy and state and federal regulations Operate vehicle on and off customer sites in a manner compliant with company policy and procedure and compliant with DOT Unload products at customer locations in tanks located above and below ground or warehouses Maintain equipment according to company guidelines Maintain electronic driving log book to state and federal regulations Complete electronic Vehicle Inspection

POSITION DESCRIPTION The Warehouse Assistant assists the Warehouse Manager with representing the first line of authority in the execution of daily warehouse functions. The Warehouse Assist is expected at all times to project an image that is consistent
