About the Opportunity As Warehouse Associate for ELGi, you will be responsible for supporting the parts and service teams by assisting in the assembly, testing, and inspection of industrial compressors and performing shipping and receiving duties.
As Warehouse Associate for ELGi, you will: Assist the assembly technician in assembling, testing, and inspecting industrial compressors Receive shipments; examine shipment contents and compare with records to ensure correct order fulfillment
Prepare equipment for shipment including, but not limited to, preparing shipping documents, packaging, and staging Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to the appropriate locations.
Load and unload freight trucks as necessary Maintain the warehouse including, but not limited to, ensuring pathways and exits are clear of obstructions Other tasks as needed or assigned About You The Warehouse Associate may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years' relevant experience Ability to operate a sit-down forklift Effective verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

This position is actively involved in the receipt and shipment of finished goods, raw materials and supplies. This individual is required to ensure inventory accuracy by monitoring and auditing receipts and transfers of product. The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will make sure that product is handled in a first in,
first out manner. This role is responsible for forklift, material handling, and shipping clerk staffing and assignment of duties to subordinate staff. This individual will review the effectiveness of operating and safety procedures, maintenance of equipment, space utilization, and protection of all inventory items/supplies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities Include: · Supervises the shipping and receiving area (including Shipping and Receiving Clerks) to ensure the accurate and timely handling/processing of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies. · This is a working shipping supervisor position. Candidates should expect to be operating a forklift for up to half of their time. ·
Supervises Material Handlers to ensure that product is pulled, verified, and production needs are accurately met in a consistent and timely manner.
· Ensures that goods are verified against records of shipments & receipts to ensure that they match orders in quantity, description quality. Immediately reports damages and discrepancies to purchasing manager before releasing truck· Develops and monitors work schedules to ensure coordination with incoming and outgoing shipment schedules. · Informs management of progress, priorities and problems to ensure that issues are handled in a timely manner. · Verifies that all in and out bound shipments are accurately scanned in and out of each location· Coordinates activities with other departments to ensure that products are shipped and received according to customer specifications.
· Utilizes knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures to develop and communicate improved procedures. · Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel. · Maintains First-in, First-Out inventory accuracy requirements based on both internal and external customer expectations. · Continuously monitors layout and space requirements in an ever changing business environment. · Actively engaged in employee training and development.

match will be done after the correct purchase order for the items in the carton has been entered in the RF. B. Once all receiving has been completed, print the OS&D report in SX. e to check for receiving errors. Match any item on the report to what has been received and make the appropriate corrections.
C. After completing any corrections, close the receiving transactions in the RF. D. Pick orders correctly by scanning the bin location and item into a picking tote as directed by the RF. Insure that the quantity picked matches what is in the RF. E. During the packing process, scan the items from the picking tote to a shipping carton to assure accuracy of picked items (item number and quantity).
F. Package orders for shipping using the appropriate packing material to protect against damage by the carrier. Meet instructions & requirements as noted on the packing slip.
G. Perform daily inventory cycle count. III. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES A. WAREHOUSE 1. Fabricate hose assemblies after receiving hose certification. 2. Provide service to the counter for customer pickup orders. 3. Restock packing supplies as needed. 4. Ship small packages using a PC shipping system and run end of day reports. 5. Process motor freight shipments. 6. Know how to process " special service" orders including same day delivery & courier shipments, international shipments, and specially routed
truck shipments. 7. Know how to access carrier websites and/or personnel for special quotes or other information.
8. Pull transfers, build job baskets in the PUD warehouse. 9. Follow Cross Company's " Ten Commandments of Good Communication" 10. Perform special projects as assigned by your supervisor. 11.
