Medical, dental, vision benefits after 30 days of employment. POSITION PURPOSE: Primary responsibility is cleaning of the distribution center (75% of duties).
Perform routine cleaning including vacuuming; sweeping, and mopping floors; dusting, washing walls, doors, and windows, and emptying trash. Perform minor preventative maintenance and minor repairs. Assist service personnel as needed. Reports major repair and maintenance needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Ensures that you have all of the needed janitorial equipment.
Operates floor scrubber. Sweeps and vacuums dock plates. Sweeps and mop sanitation barriers. Empties trash bins from all locations in the cooler, grocery and loading dock, offices and break areas.
Empties cardboard and plastic recycling and compacts. Keeps all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper. Removes empty pallets and clean and mop slots. Discards leaking product and records on the reconditioning log. Reports any violation of company policy to supervisor or lead. Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location. QUALIFICATIONS: High
School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent related experience. Understands Safety guidelines.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers. Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes. Also responsible for taking pallets of product from storage slot and placing them into correct slot for selection for delivery to retail customers. system through entries into the Telxon unit. Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Take pallets of product that have been received into inventory and place them into warehouse storage in the correct slot.
Record the placement of each pallet into the inventory system. Retrieve pallets of product from storage and place into correct slot for order selectors to receive. Transports product throughout the warehouse via stand-up forklift (HI-LO). Works in a fast paced environment with varying temperatures. Assists other departments with work activities when required. Job Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. 6+ months experience with stand-up high reach is required. Previous warehouse
experience such as shipping or receiving, or experience in a physically demanding position is preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, frequent bending, stooping and lifting. Must have the ability to work in various temperatures from -20 to 80 degrees. Must be able to work the required schedule and/or overtime, which could involve nights, holidays or weekends.
