Responsibilities: Use lift truck to move raw materials to proper locations according to production travelers. Place and remove parts from floor and rack locations. Adjust loads by hand as required for safe handling. Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on lift truck.

Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to safely operate hand pallet trucks, forklift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic. Must be able to read blueprints, understand basic math (including fractions and decimals), basic computer skills, problem solve, and good decision-making ability. Previous forklift experience preferred.

Additional Information Pay rates from $23.00 to over $27.50. Plus, earn an additional $1.50/hour for working 2nd or 3rd shift! Positions are on 2nd or 3rd shift Promotional opportunities available after 12 months.

Paid holidays, vacation, personal leave, and birthday pay available immediately upon hire. Medical insurance starts after 60 days of employment. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT As a Warehouse Assistant, you play a vital role in helping our HVAC company operate efficiently.

Your main goal is to keep inventory stocked and well-organized. Using your customer service skills, you handle all questions and concerns from our customers in order to build and maintain a working relationship. To keep everything running smoothly, you promptly and accurately update logs and documentation for inventory processing. With safety at the forefront of your mind, you use a forklift or picker machine to move HVAC materials across the facility. Keeping things tidy and well-maintained, you also ensure that the warehouse is safe and accessible for associates.

You are an effective worker because you're both self-motivated and a team player. Always proactive, you take care of your responsibilities without prompting from leadership. You also work well with others as you communicate with fellow employees and report inventory issues to your supervisor. You gain a great sense of fulfillment by contributing to the success of your team and playing an important role in providing high-quality results for our customers. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform the physical demands of the job RFI scanner experience, inventory management experience, and forklift or warehouse experience are preferred but not required.
