Ensures product flow and service are maintained daily, determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Supports the Outlet Manager with the management of the warehouse, salvage, operations and facility budget. Select, train, and direct the activities of employees setting expectations to provide an efficient, congenial, cost effective work force. Promotes productivity by following

up with employees on work results. Manages the warehouse & storage layout according to raw and salvage inventory and supplies needed. Works effectively & communicates with Goodwill departments as needed.

Upholds safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents. Maintains equipment according to recommended procedures and policies. Manage disposal of garbage, recycling and hazardous waste materials in a cost saving manner and according to applicable regulations. Conducts scheduled periodic inventories. Resolves workplace problems by addressing issues that impact

employee performance and productivity. Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.

Completes assigned projects by planning, organizing and monitoring for optimum results. Holds regular departmental meetings. Ensure the maintenance of all mechanical equipment according to recommended procedures. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwill's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Partner with People Relations as needed and appropriate. Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse environment. Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience. Knowledge of production and warehouse facilities required. Experience with basic accounting practices and bookkeeping. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: Current Washington State Driver's License required and proof of insurance. Forklift Certification with Seattle Goodwill. Computer/Technology Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Teams. Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job. Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required sit for long periods of time, communicate with other employees by talking and hearing, required to lift and carry items weighing up to 30-40 pounds and to operate computer systems.

Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; standing for long periods of time; Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain). Extended standing on hard surfaces; ability to operate heavy machinery is a safe and responsible manner.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance. Prepare products for shipping by stacking in an orderly and stable configuration, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Read customer order from label screen

and select product by slot and description. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.

Attach labels on product. Properly operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to proceed to correct slot location, and transport product to dock area for staging. Handle products with the necessary care. Report any damage of merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor. Perform daily equipment checks. Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area that the supervisor may assign. Sign in and out for all equipment when used. Use basic communication skills to understand work systems, instructions, etc.

Adhere to all applicable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), personal hygiene, and SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures as described in the European Imports Sysco Food Safety Training Manual. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONSEducation High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is required. Experience Six months of prior warehouse experience is preferred. Professional Skills Ability to handle up to 80 lbs. 20 lbs. regularly is required. Working Conditions General working conditions an environment with temperatures, of 0, 35, 65 degrees and ambient temperatures.

Employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment. Position may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, shift duration depends on work load and may vary daily. Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. Responsible for unloading raw materials and placing them in

designated warehouse space. Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse and loading them onto a pallet.

Position is responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping. In most cases, pallets are loaded onto a trailer for local delivery. Position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats. Route truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors or pallets of products from the warehouse and loading them into the truck. Product/packages for each truck are customized based on the salespersons order. Position is responsible for unloading returned

products and pallets/plastic flats. Position requires lifting a very high volume of cases of product per day from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during a long work period.

Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting reaching and grasping as product is moved. PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment (if applicable) Mark load ticket for out of stock items Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area Regular, reliable, predictable attendance BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years or older HELPFUL EXPERIENCE: Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.

g. order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc. ) Driving a forklift (e. g. performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc. ) Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.
