Responsible for housekeeping and repairs of the facility. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the manufacturing and handling of all feeds, insuring proper sequencing of products to produce the correct feeds. Assists with inventory and records of all feeds. Protects product from damage. Maintains proper inventory paperwork at the facility for deliveries and completes physical inventories as required. Monitors inventory
for current seasonal and daily needs. Maintains a record of each batch of feed produced to document a quality manufacturing program. Maintains records of all medicated feed additives as required by state law.
Responsible for keeping the Branch Manager informed of the need for major building and equipment repairs as well as recommendations for annual fixed asset purchases. Responsible for location housekeeping. Responsible for safe use of tools and equipment and appropriate use of personal protective equipment by all employees at the location and reporting unsafe conditions to the Location Manager. Responsible for delivery of products to customers. Schedules all major equipment repairs.

Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires High School diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of related work experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification. Hazmat & Tanker endorsements and Mixer Loader Pesticide Certified & License are preferred. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Normally requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Continuously exposed or required to: Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc. ) Noisy conditions Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures May be required to work at varying heights Lift 51-70 lbs Required to push heavy objects Ability to work extended hours when necessary. Ability to travel independently and overnight. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Primary Function Plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so that supplies and equipment are delivered to the proper departments in an effective and efficient manner according to departmental procedures.
The supervisor will also oversee the movement of inventory and address any freight issues and assist with returns. Responsibilities Plans and coordinates work assignments for the Shipping department. Trains, motivates and monitors the performance of Receiving/Shipping personnel. Responsible for
inventory management, cycle counts, and spot checks. Handle freight issues (lost freight, refused freight, etc) Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storage, shipping and salvaging of equipment and supplies.
Provide and necessary training to staff on shipping procedures, use of Fed Ex shipping systems and international shipping regulations. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. Qualifications Associate Degree 3+ years of related experience or training, preferably in inventory or shipping and receiving 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience. Additional Qualifications: Automated receiving experience, SAP preferred.
B. S or B. A. degree preferred. Effective communications both written and verbal are required.
