You pick products to complete orders, scan them along with the corresponding paperwork, and package them for distribution. Using your keen eye for detail, you ensure that orders are always filled correctly and everything is packaged according to guidelines. You carefully follow all policies and procedures and keep our inventory clean and organized throughout your entire shift. At times, heavy lifting and operating machinery are required, but you always follow safety standards. This person will also be a backup for our 2nd Shift Outbound Lead for vacations, so we are looking for someone comfortable leading a small 2nd shift of part-time Order Fillers and Warehouse Associates. You pick products to complete orders, scan them along with the corresponding paperwork, and package them for distribution. Using your keen eye for detail, you ensure that orders are always filled correctly and everything is packaged according to guidelines. You carefully follow all policies and procedures and keep our inventory clean and organized throughout your entire shift.

You may also be responsible for receiving and UPS, as well as moving material, so forklift experience is needed for this position. We are looking for someone able to adapt to changing customer needs - some days will be very busy, while others will give 2nd shift time to organize the warehouse. At times, heavy lifting and operating machinery are required, but you always follow safety standards. Primary Function Plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so that supplies and equipment are delivered to the proper departments in an effective and efficient manner according to departmental procedures.

The supervisor will also oversee the movement of inventory and address any freight issues and assist with returns. Responsibilities Plans and coordinates work assignments for the Shipping department. Trains, motivates and monitors the performance of Receiving/Shipping personnel. Responsible for

inventory management, cycle counts, and spot checks. Handle freight issues (lost freight, refused freight, etc) Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storage, shipping and salvaging of equipment and supplies.

Provide and necessary training to staff on shipping procedures, use of Fed Ex shipping systems and international shipping regulations. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. Qualifications Associate Degree 3+ years of related experience or training, preferably in inventory or shipping and receiving 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience. Additional Qualifications: Automated receiving experience, SAP preferred.

B. S or B. A. degree preferred. Effective communications both written and verbal are required.
