Roles & Responsibilities This is a field mechanic role responsible for performing mechanic duties for rotating equipment maintenance within midstream gas compression / gathering assets. This includes working on various equipment types such as pumps, compressors, engines, motors, blower, and fans. Responsibilities include interaction with technical specialists,
engineering, planning, scheduling, and supply chain to support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and minimizing equipment downtime.
The primary responsibilities for these roles include: Maintains and repairs: gas compressors, air compressors, pumps, IC engines, Condenser fans, gear boxes, electric motors, valves, and basic system controls. Inspects equipment for signs of vibration damage, leaks, unusual noise, excessive wear, damage from foreign objects in fluid, and corrosion damage.
