Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.7. Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according tospecifications.8. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.9. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.1o. Collect and dispose of grey water11. Graffiti removal12. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order
toprevent damage to floors and fixtures.13. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.14. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operatingsystems.15.
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.16. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding toprepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.17. Follow all safety/OSHA required guidelines.18. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Work Schedule may vary; position requires flexibility with schedule and days off• Ability to lift-up to 30 lbs as necessary• Must be responsible
for attendance, punctuality and consistent work performance duringscheduled work times.
• Employee will be exposed to various types of cleaning machinery and must be able tomeet all physical requirements. • Speak, read, comprehend and be fully conversant in the English language. • Must be a responsible individual who is willing and able to follow direction and workwith minimal supervision. • Other Details: Professional office/work and laboratory atmosphere. Minimum Experience• Be at least 18 years of age• Minimum 2 years of janitorial/cleaning/related work experience• Computer Skills: Basic Required Contacts• Sys Com, Inc. staff, executives and management. • Serves as liaison between department and other departments as well as with outsidecustomers, regulatory personnel, and organizations, etc. Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonableaccommodation at the time the position begins.
