cabin lot owners. By the late 1930’s many of the cabin lots remained unsold and undeveloped costing the developer an immense amount of property taxes. In order to reduce the burden of the property taxes the developer applied for and was approved for a Re-Subdivision in the early part of the 1940’s.
This country club and cabin lot subdivision was named Marrland. Currently only a handful of the original cabin lots still remain privately owned and a few were subdivided into the surrounding acreage.
